The Best Peanut Butter Cookies 2 Ways

Peanut Butter Cookies are a lot of people’s must have quarantine snack. For me I’m allergic to peanut, so trying to not to ingest them is hard when most food or desserts have some type of peanuts in them. My allergy to peanuts are bad, but not bad to the point I can’t touch it. My family doesn’t know how to bake, so making their day, makes mines.

Making these cookies, there are many ways, but I have two methods that will make life easier. During this Coronavirus pandemic, finding ingredients can be hard with all the crazy hoarders out there. If you are having trouble finding sugar, eggs, flour and more, check out you local Dollar Store. They have a lot of products and food items that most grocery stores have, but at a cheaper price. All the items I found in Los Angeles were at the Dollar Tree or the 99 Cent Store.

Deep Fried Cookie Monster Oreos

Who doesn’t like Deep Fried Oreos?

I am a huge fan and I created this loving scrumptious dessert below called Deep Fried Cookie Monster Oreos, about three years ago. Finally in 2020, I made it in my kitchen and I will tell you now, it will be the top viral foods of 2020.

What made me come up with this idea?

I love to eat junk food whenever I get the chance to. Pretty much everyday is my cheat day and one day, I was eating Oreos and I thought to myself, “Damn, I wish I had some chocolate chip cookies on top!” Then, I thought to myself, “Hmmm, I would like to make Deep Fried Oreos too!” Then, bomb, I said to myself that I will make Deep Fried Oreos with cookie dough around the Oreos. In addition, I wanted to have the puffy pancake layer dyed blue which is my favorite color to have the Cookie Monster concept. By the way, I did also make a red version and I call it the Red Velvet Cookie Monster Oreos.

*Red Velvet Cookie Monster= Red food coloring + coco powder*

What are the ingredients?

Recipe is simple and affordable. All you need is Krusteaz pancake mix, water, blue food coloring, vegetable oil (for frying), editable Chocolate Chip cookie dough by The Cookie Dough Cafe and Double Stuf Oreos.

Now you can easily make your own Cookie Dough from scratch, but I like to make it easier on at home bakers. If you decide you want to make your own, there are plenty of sites on how to make editable cookie dough.

If you want the cream in the middle of the Oreo cookie to be thick like the picture, add a layer of cream from another cookie in the package and add inside. If not, just follow the directions to the recipe towards the end.

What are the utensils and pans you need?

Simple. You will need a medium bowl, a slotted spoon, a spoon, sauce pan or deep fryer, baking sheet pan and parchment paper.

Also, Special Shout Out to The Best Disney Enthusiast, Who Inspired This Post. This amazing person I can call a friend, is Kennan Miller.

If you love Disneyland like Kennan does, you will never catch him not at Disneyland. He is always there creating magical moments, not only by himself, but with his friends. In addition, besides Kennan’s amazing smile and laugh, he captures the best photos and videos of what Disneyland parks can offer. The best part of it all, is when you watch his Instagram stories, it makes you want to go back to Disneyland over and over again. Check Kennan out below.

Lets begin with the top eats!

The first two treats, you can find at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
  1. Mickey Cookies N’ Cream Mummy Macaron $ 4.49

If you are huge fan of Cookies N’ Cream and French Macaron, you would devour this cookie so fast, you may bite your finger tips, like I did. Not only was the Mickey Mummy Macaron, too cute, but it tasted almost like a cream pie. So soft and easy to bite, the Cookies N’ Cream filling just made by taste buds freak out. If I only knew how good it was going to be, I would have bought five.

FYI. It was so good I tweeted about it. Check it out.

2. The Cheshire Cat Linzer Cookie $4.49

Not technically a Halloween Treat, The Cheshire Cat cookie is part of the Main Street Electrical Parade celebration, but it gave me a Halloween feel, so I got it. You can also find this treat at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. My opinion on this short bread cookie, is that I found it to be very sweet. Now for me, sweet, is a good thing. The best part of the cookie, is that you can  smell the rich strawberry gel filling a mile away.  Lastly, if you’re a cookie fan or just love getting Instagram worthy desserts, this is where it’s at.

3. Batuu-Bon Cake $6.99

Not a huge Star Wars fan, but this Batuu-Bon Cake from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, made me think twice. Now you are probably thinking, what on earth is in this small ball. Well, this very cool and shiny galactic treat is a chocolate cake, topped with coffee custard and covered with a white chocolate mousse. Best part about this tasty treat, is that it is available all year round.

Now, you maybe wondering what the inside looks like and I have the perfect, mouth drooling picture for you. Check below.

By the way, if you are in the mood to get cool one of a kind souvenirs from the Star Wars Park, I recommend getting the galactic sodas bottles.  $5

They come in three flavors, which are Sprite, Coca Cola and Diet Coke. You know I had to get all three.

4. Mickey Pumpkin Spice Beignet 3 for $6

Now, let me start off by saying, I am not a fan of pumpkin spice, but I do love beignets. When I saw that the Mickey Beignet were topped with pumpkin spice powder sugar from the Cafe Orleans menu, I was taken back. I knew in my head that I had to try it because I thought to myself, when is the next time I would be here. I ordered two types of their beignets, the original (3) and the pumpkin spice(3). When I bite into the pumpkin spice, it was very soft and surprisingly not over powering. I really enjoy it and devoured the remaining two I ordered. By the way, Cafe Orleans, is located right across the Haunted Holiday Mansion (last picture). FYI, by the pictures I took below, you can’t tell which flavor is which. For you reference, from the first picture, pumpkin spice is on the left. Lastly, I would recommend you trying both flavors.

Note: If they staff is having a nice day, you can probably pick and choose how many of one flavor you would to get out of the three.

IG @Eatwhateveryouwant Photo by Nkechi Ahaiwe

Let’s Begin with My Top 9 626 Vendors….

1. @Cafe949

This was my second time trying Cafe 949 and they did not disappoint. They are known for their amazing garlic noodles, lobster and their fresh Vietnamese Coffee. You know I got all three. The noodles are do fresh and the lobster melts in your mouth. In addition, I enjoyed them using a blow torch to cook their Lobster, it was so fun to watch on their open grill. In addition, their iced coffee was a great balance after I devoured my meal.

2. @Icecreamgardenla

Again, second time going to Ice Cream Garden LA and this time they have step up their game. Not only are the known for their cute ice cream garden cups, they are know for their epic grilled cheese sandwiches. I got to try the high recommend Rainbow Grilled Cheese and Pepperoni Grilled Cheese. Let’s just say, I devoured them so fast, I literally almost bit my fingers. I also had the pleasure to taste their ice cups, Rainbow and Dirty Cup. The base ice cream for both cups were Matcha flavored and the toppings fit the them on their names. The Rainbow Cup,  had the rainbow and unicorn candy with a shortbread cookies crumbs  made to look like sand. Then on top with the cutest cookie teddy bear. Lastly, with the Dirty Cup, the is mean to look like a plant, so it has Oreo crumbs to look like dirty and adorable candy worms on top.

3. @Bobabearusa

Want something refreshing after eating all that festival food, well Boba Bear is a great place to visit at 626. They have two booth with six different drinks total, three at each, and I went to the original one. The three flavors they have are Milk Tea, Butterfly Lemonade, and 24k Golden Tea. Note, you can get all drinks with or with out Boba. You know me, I had to taste all three, because I did not want to regret not trying one. I have to say that my favorite was the 24k Golden Tea with Boba. You are probably thinking, “What the heck do I look like drinking Gold?” Well the 24k Gold is editable and you can’t taste it all. In addition, the drink has fresh honey lemon green tea with edible shimmering magic aka 24k Gold. My second favorite was the Milk Tea Boba, which has black tea, brown sugar, non-dairy creamer. Lastly, the Butterfly Lemonade was pretty good, which has house-made lemonade with butterfly-pea flower extract.

4. @FlavourFusions

If you know me, when it comes to food and drinks, I like them to stand out. Flavour Fusions definietly caught my eye for many reasons. First, when I was walking around the festival, I noticed people who purchased drinks from them, that all the drinks  either came in a bowl, bucket or a cup that lit up with lights at the at the bottom. After seeing so many people had them, I had to check out their booth. The two flavors I got was Love Sick (Blue) and Love Poison (Red) in fish bowls. Love Sick has blue jasmine flower soda and Love Poison has thai red candy soda. The are both topped off with strawberries, rainbow jellies, mint leaves, fresh lime and two jelly shots. Want to see video of the jelly shots being shot into to drinks? Check out my Instagram Eatwhateveryouwant Highlight under the Circus Tent Emoji🎪.

5. @theOnionBomb

Let me just say this, The Onion Bomb is highly recommended! What I got was The Onion Bomb which it is a deep fried Blooming Onion and Super Cheesy Lobster Fries. In the middle of both is nacho cheese dip which pairs well. Now, if you are not a nacho cheese fan, they do have other flavors like Sweet Chill and more. I always wanted to try a blooming onion, and I didn’t want to go to Outback Steakhouse to got get one. The Onion Bomb did not disappoint! One, it smelled so good. Two, it was so crispy when you ripped the pieces apart and lastly, dipping it in the nachos cheese took the taste to another level. Now with the Super Cheese Lobster Fries, let just say this, I inhaled and devoured those long fries so fast, I had the hiccups. Let’s leave at that!

6. @JustFrieday

This was my third time trying Just Friedays and honestly the quality of  their food is getting better and better. I always get the same dishes which are the Pepperoni Fries and the Cheesy Sriracha Tots. Both are their top sellers and both make my tummy very happy. The amount of love that goes into their food making process is out standing. When I say this, I mean, they take their time when preparing the food and when the food gets to you, it’s so fresh and hot. If I had to pick my favorite out of each, I can’t! Thats how go they both are!

7. @LaPizzeriaCo

New vendor, La Pizzeria Co is a spot to look out for. The have different types of pizza that have toppings from bacon, pepperoni to even chocolate. Yeah, I said it! La Pizzeria Co has the normal type of pizza we are use to seeing plus dessert pizzas too. The three I got, were Shrimp Bacon, Barbecue Chicken and Cookie Monster Pizza. Not only was the pizzas tasty, but the vibe of all the staff was super lit. Now for you old generation that does not know what the terminology of the word, lit mean, I will go ahead and explain it to you. The word, lit, is a word that is use described as an adjective that can be used to explain how exciting or fun something is. You got it? Perfect.

8. @ChickNSkin

Who doesn’t like deep fried Chicken Skins? I know I do! Chick N Skin, is new vendor offering this amazing treat with your choice of dipping sauces. I ended up getting the deep fried chicken skins with a side of sweet chili sauce. Also, if you are like me and want to go all in the experience, I recommend getting the chicken skin nachos. In this finger licking treat, chicken skins are topped with hot nacho cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, dazzled with sour cream and topped with cilantro. I know, your mouth is salavating right now!

9. @NorigamiTacos

Last but not least, Norigami Tacos!! I been to 626 Night Market about five times and I always have to stop by Norigami. The are well known for their sushi tacos. Yes, I said sushi tacos! I usually get the Mr. Krabs and Maui Wowie tacos, but this time I changed up a little bit. I got their new, Golden Tiger taco that has fresh shrimp, shrimp tempura, guacamole, sliced cucumber , drizzled with spicy mayo sauce and eel sauce.  In addition, I kept it original and got Mr. Krabs which has a crispy soft shell crab, with sliced cucumbers, topped with spicy mayo and citrus ponzu sauce. Both tacos will have your flavor taste buds going through the roof, trust me!

**Note: If your are a Food Vendor that will be at 626 Night Market next summer and you want to collaborate with me, fill out this information below. Thanks.

7. Bacon-A-Fair’s Bacon Wrapped Sausage $16

Bacon-A- Fair – Bacon Wrapped Sausage with grilled onions, and red & green bell peppers

Orange County Fair ends on August 11th. So hurry up and get your tickets.

💡Helpful Tips:

  1. Buying a OC Fair Souvenir cup is the best bet. You think it will cost an arm and a leg, but it does not. Its about $5 and you can refill at vendors who sell the cups for about $3 with your favorite sodas, lemonades or even water.  Come on! Deal right?
  2. Bring comfortable shoes! I know, I know, I know, us ladies love to look stylish where ever we go. We love to wear are cute boots and sandals, but trust me, you will need to bring a pair of sneakers with you. Tons of walking and the worst would be mess up your sandals trying to look cute. Do what I did, I brought my sandals to take some Instagram lifestyle pictures and after I was done, I switched into my sneakers.  Best of both worlds!
  3. Make your own clean up kit. Sounds crazy right? Nope! I have to admit, I am a messy eater. When I ate, I devour food so fast, it gets all over my clothes, hands, and face. So I created my own clean up kit that consists of hand sanitizer, face whips, hand whips, Clorox Bleach Pen (for whites), and Clorox Stain Fighter (protection for colors). Very cheap! You can find most of the items at your local Dollar Store or Walmart.

OC Fair hours:
Wednesday-Friday: Noon – Midnight
Saturday-Sunday: 11 a.m. – Midnight
Monday-Tuesday: Closed

Admission Prices:

Admission is very reasonable for all the quality food, rides and attractions you experience. I went on a Sunday and it was $14, which I highly recommend going on that day. The reason is because their are a lot of families who attend with kids so, the food lines aren’t as long and the adult rides are long either. Check out their rates… (Click Here)

Check and Follow my Instagram at Eatwhateveryouwant  for more treats. Will be going back before August 11!

Jeni’s Ice Cream X Tyler The Creator: SNOWFLAKE PACK

Snowflake Pack
Snowflake Pack Includes: Cream Puff II Gooey Butter Cake ll Snowflake ll + Golf T-shirt

Why am I so excited?

I am excited because I am a huge fan of Tyler The Creator and ice cream. Being a true Foodie, you know when I heard that Jeni’s Ice Cream was doing a collaboration with one of my favorite artist, I was here for it. Plus, it’s the Summer time and you know I got to get mines.

What’s in the Snowflake Pack?

Snowflake Pack is a collaboration with Jeni’s Ice Cream and Tyler The Creator (Jeni’s X Golf Le Fleur) . All pint ice creams are some of Tyler’s favorites. The flavors in this pack are, Snowflake, Cream Puff and Gooey Butter Cake. It also includes a t-shirt from Tyler’s clothing brand Golf and the sizes range from S to XXXL. Lastly, the pack has a Post-IT note from Tyler himself. It is a sketch of the Snowflake pint design with a sweet message from his as well.

Check out my unboxing video on my Instagram TV!

How much is the Snowflake Pack?

The total cost is $45 with a $19 shipping fee. It may sound like a lot, but trust me its worth it!

Why Tyler’s favorties are the best?

I am huge fan of trying new ice cream flavors and after tasting his favorites, I see why. Lets dive into the ingredients of each pint from Jeni’s Ice Cream descriptions.

“Cool peppermint on the ivory side, warm spearmint on the green side, with buttery white chocolate melted throughout, white chocolate flakes for some crunch, and a little sea salt to bring the flavor and scent forward.” -Jeni Britton Bauer

“This tastes exactly like a giant cream puff. A runaway hit when we first introduced it two summers ago, this one tops our most popular list every time we release it.”- Jeni Britton Bauer

“Cream cheese ice cream layered with crumbles of soft vanilla cake and swirls of caramel-butterscotch sauce. Like the best blondie you’ve ever tasted … covered in caramel sauce.”- Jeni Britton Bauer

Wow! Just by reading the descriptions, you know before trying them, they will be scrumptious.

What are my thoughts?

Let me just say this, I will be going to Jeni’s Ice Cream shop this weekend to reload my freezer. If thats, not enough for you to go get your own Snowflake Pack , or go visit the store, just go look up customers’ tweets and Instagram reactions. They love it. My favorite of course was the Snowflake! This tasty treasure, is so refreshing and honestly no other ice cream came close to how good it tasted. The spearmint had my taste buds so freaking happy. My mother thought she was slick by trying to grab herself a spoon to get a scoop. I gave her a look of, “You got to be kidding me!” I laughed and told her, “Sorry Mom, you got to get your own”.

In that said, go order your pack today. (Click Here)

Pineapple Upside Down -Right Side Up Cupcakes & Vanilla Reese’s Caramel Cupcakes

Pineapple Upside Down/Right Side Up Cupcakes & Vanilla Reese’s Caramel Cupcakes

Prep time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 45 Minutes

Serves: 20 people

What You Will Need:

For Cupcakes:

Frosting & Toppings:

Topping Optionals:

Lets Begin.

Preheat oven at 350 degrees, Spray half of the 12 Cupcake Pan with the Coconut Cooking Spray (6 spots) and add 6 cupcake liners on the other half. In the 6 Cupcake Pan, add a liner in each and in the other pan, add only 2 liners.  Set all pans aside to fill later.

Combine. Butter Cream, powdered-sugar in mixing bowl. Mix on medium speed for about 30 seconds. Set aside.

Combine. Cake Mix, eggs, oil, water in the mixing bowl and mix on medium speed for about 1 minute. If you don’t have a mixer, thats totally fine, you can mix your ingredients very well  with a rubber spatula  for about 12 stirring motions. Set that aside.

Pour. Mixture into the Batter Dispenser. This verse pouring mixture directly into pan makes everything easy breezy. With the dispenser, it pours out evenly and there is no mess. See imagine below. Now if you don’t have a dispenser, its not the end of the world. You can use your tablespoon to fill the liners with the cake mixture; add about 2 tablespoons.

Fill. The six liners with batter. Don’t fill it all the way to the top; leave some space. (This will be for the Vanilla Reese’s Caramel Cupcakes.) The spots you sprayed, this is where you will add the cherries and pineapple slices for your Pineapple Upside Down Cupcakes. With your kitchen knife, cut a triangular piece off the eleven pineapple slices and set aside. Place the larger piece at the bottom of the pan, add a Maraschino cherry in the gap then add the cut piece on top. See below. Now add batter on top. For Pineapple Right Side Up Cupcakes, its the opposite. Add batter first then add pineapple and cherry on top. Look at third imagine. The last 6 Cupcake Pan will be for only two cupcakes. Now, that can be for whatever cupcake you choose. I chose to make two Right Side Up Cupcakes.

Bake. For 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. After baking is finished, the top of your cupcakes will have a golden brown crown. Take out of the oven and set it on a tile counter top and let it cool in pan for about 10 minutes. Remove from cupcake pan and let it cool on a flat pan top with a baking sheet about 20 minutes.

Frost Time BABY! With your rubber spatula, add frosting inside pipping bag. Use any decorating tip you like. I use an open star tip, similar to this (Click to See). For the Vanilla Reese’s Caramel Cupcakes, frost it in a circular motions and built to the top. Watch video below.

Top. The Pineapple Cupcakes with your Mother’s Maid Cherries. You can also add whipped cream for the extra sweetness and some butter cream frosting.

Top. Each Vanilla Cupcake with a Reese Cup then drizzle caramel sauce on top. You can also add chocolate drizzle on top!

Place. Each slice of bread, one by one into the mixture, allowing the bread to soak some of it. Shake off the excess off.

Fry. The French Toast for about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Now if you live in a house full of hungry people, be prepared when your family start begging to have a bite or two lol.

Plate.  Your French toast and add the sliced strawberries and bananas. Pour your powdered sugar into the Mesh Strainer and  gently over your French toast.
